Maeliah
One text can change everything — Maeliah put it to music!
Portrait
Maeliah is a rising female voice from the Antilles, carried by a pop-urban world bursting with Caribbean color. With 'Texto', she delivers a track with modern sounds that speaks of connection, desire, and communication in the digital age. A sensitive and straight-talking artist who knows exactly how to hit her generation right in the heart.
Did you know?
The track 'Texto' plays on the ambivalence of written words: what you send, what you don't dare send… and what you wait for but never receive.
Today's Caribbean pop draws as much from romantic zouk as from global urban trends — Maeliah rides that wave perfectly.
Female artists from the Antilles are flying the colors of their territory higher and higher on the international francophone scene.
" Island music is the emotion you can't express any other way than by singing. "
