Kryssy ft. Kamelon
Kryssy ft. Kamelon — 'Vilain': when the Antilles make you dance and shiver all at once!
Portrait
Kryssy is a radiant female voice from the Antilles, carried by an urban and sensual universe that blends Caribbean influences with contemporary sounds. Alongside Kamelon, she delivers 'Vilain', a track that plays on the duality between seduction and provocation. Together, they embody a new generation of island artists breaking free from conventions while staying rooted in Creole culture.
Did you know?
The track 'Vilain' plays on Creole irony: in the islands, being 'vilain' can mean someone badly behaved just as much as someone irresistibly captivating.
Male-female collaborations in Antillean shatta and dancehall are a true musical tradition that boosts both artists on the Caribbean scene.
The musical culture of the Antilles fuses Creole, English and French in its lyrics, creating a universal language that reaches far beyond the islands' borders.
" Island music is the sunshine you carry everywhere you go, even when the sea is far away. "
