Bersy
Bersy — when the music becomes an addiction, you know it's the real deal!
Portrait
Bersy is a rising voice from the Antilles who casts a spell with sensual melodies and lyrics that speak straight to the heart. With her track « Accro », she captures the essence of love addiction over warm, hypnotic rhythms. An artist who stands fully in the tradition of the great female voices of the Caribbean.
Did you know?
The track « Accro » plays on a double addiction: the one you feel for love, and the one for music that never lets you go.
The female voices of the Antilles carry a rich musical tradition spanning several decades, from gwo ka to modern zouk — Bersy is firmly part of that lineage.
The word « Accro » hits especially deep in the Caribbean, where music is far more than entertainment: it's a way of life.
" The music of the Antilles isn't played — it's felt. It runs through the blood like rum through the veins of our islands. "
